DONATE NOW!2009 celebrated the 25th Anniversary of Tessa Sanderson winning her Olympic Gold Medal. On the 6th August 1984 at the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles Tessa Sanderson won the Gold in the Womens Javelin and remains today the only British Woman to ever win a throwing Gold Medal.

Donate Now!Tony Jarrett was one of the most respected athletes Britain has ever had running over the 110m men's high hurdles. Tony has an impeccable record he has competed for GB many years he won Commonwealth Gold and European Silver medal. He also won major championship medals in World indoor athletics championships and until the end of his career he was never beaten by any other British athlete in his event outside of Colin Jackson.
Ayo has competed in club athletics for 10 years in 1990.he started coaching and has since been coach to some of the best British athletes ever to grace the track. He is a specialist 400m and middle distance coach as well as coach to one of the Britain's best disabled blind runners who went on to in a Commonwealth Silver Medal. Ayo is now coach to one of Britain's best 800m athletes Marylin Okoro.
Lloyd was a former athlete sprint hurdler and has represented GB on several occasions. Lloyd is now one of the best coaches with UK Athletics (UKA). Lloyd was the only coach whose athlete won a GOLD medal on the athletic track for Team GB in the World Championships in 2007 and the Beijing Olympic in 2008. This athlete was Christine Ohourougu in the 400M Christine is now training for the London 2012 Olympic Games her sister Vicky is a member of Tessa's Sports Academy and she too is been coached by Lloyd and is looking to compete in the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Greg was a former British Decathlete and was ranked 2nd in the GB rankings for a number of years only better was the Gret Daley Thompson who at the time was Greg's training partner. Greg is now a member of the UKA Multi event coach team and was a Team coach in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Richard has coached many of the best triple and long jumpers with the British Team including Frank Atoh and many have gone on to win European, Commonwealth. Richard has a wealth of experience in this area and is already working with very talented youngsters ho have been identified by the coaches in the Academy as potential for the London 2012 Games.
Coral Norrice competed for GB at junior level. Her know of athletics coaching is very wide and often is called to work with young athletes at England training weekends and at UKA coaches training camps. Coral has identified several of the young girls in her group and is looking forward to raising an athlete from grass roots to international level, if not the London 2012 Games she is confident of the Games in 2016.
Clarence was one of Britains best sprinters in the early eighties he went on to win several medals at senior level and on the International circuit he was representative in the British relay squad who on Commonwealth Gold medal. Clarence after he retired as selected to head up the British Junior girls squad coaching and preparing them for major competitions.
Andrew born in Belarus has been living and working with the British Judo Association as a fully qualified and experienced judo coach. Andrew represented his country of Russia for several years and now works with many of the talented Academy youngsters who are looking to make the 2012 Team for Team GB. Already the Academy has 2 members who are already enlisted in GB Camp based in Dartford. Andrew also teaches self defence courses for all age groups for anyone who wants to take up judo as a sport through the Academy.
